3CA - Croajingalong Centre for Communication and the Arts

Croajingalong Centre for Communication and the Arts (3CA) is the joint venture building sub-committee of Mallacoota Genoa Broadcasting Association Inc. (3MGB) and Mallacoota Arts Council Inc. (MAC).  3CA's purpose is to fund and build a facility to accommodate MAC & 3MGB providing a MAC office and Gallery and two Radio Studios, together with a common meeting room and associated amenities.  It is hoped that the main street location will encourage the participation of residents and visitors in the activities of the gallery and radio station.  We will raise funds for the building through community events and by seeking grants from Local, State and Federal Governments.

The sub-committee meets monthly and the Chairmanship alternates
between each parent organisation every twelve months.  If you wish to provide input to 3CA please approach one of the committee members:  Sue Chapman, Michael Drake, Yoland Oakley, Jill Wood-Ingram, Russell Grabert or Peter Giddings who will be happy to communicate your ideas at the next committee meeting.

In February 2008 we submitted an Application for a Planning Permit to the Shire Council.  Council provided a preliminary response in May and we await their further advice.
